Abstract
Rural issues are diverse and complex. It would be difficult to touch on every aspect of rural life in a short period oftime. So this literary collage will look at only two: country schools and farm life. In looking at these two features, though, it is possible to gain insight into rural life, to understand some ofthe things that shape the people who live in rural areas.
