Our mission is to support knowledge that encompasses global perspectives on school social work. We need your support to increase access to these perspectives and disseminate knowledge. Health Behavior Research

Health Behavior Research (HBR) is the official journal of the American Academy of Health Behavior (AAHB). Published four-times per year, HBR is a peer-reviewed open-access scholarly journal that publishes original research articles, current issues papers, commentaries, and abstracts from the annual meeting of the Academy.

Health Behavior Research is dedicated to the translation of research to advance policy, program planning, and/or practice relevant to behavior change. This aim is accomplished by publishing scholarly works from basic and applied scientists that rigorously apply, test, and inform efforts to revise, refine, or reject theoretical principles. More specifically, preference will be given to works that:

• Test theoretical principles across a diverse array of settings and populations to enable investigators to better specify the scope of a theory;
• Further develop processes that shape primary constructs identified in health behavior theories to inform guidelines for strategies to target constructs in policy, planning, and practice;
• Address the causal processes invoked by mediators and moderators that inform theory refinement;
• Provide empirical evidence that informs researchers about the potential factors that lack predictive and explanatory health behaviors so as to refine and reduce the number of constructs within existing theories that predict and explain health behavior;
• Provide rationale for theory refinement based on application and rigorous testing.
• Address new and emerging concepts and theory used in health behavior research, conceptual frameworks, methods, and analyses.

Journal of International Agricultural and Extension Education

The Journal of International Agricultural and Extension Education is the official refereed publication of the Association for International Agricultural and Extension Education (AIAEE). Its purpose is to enhance the research and knowledge base of agricultural and extension education from an international perspective.

Journal of Financial Therapy

The Journal of Financial Therapy primarily publishes clinical, experimental, and survey research that examines the empirical link between personal financial knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors and personal and family well-being. The journal also accepts cross-sectional survey research, longitudinal and panel study research, case studies, financial therapy practice management tutorials, and literature reviews. Articles from financial therapists, both those working in academia and in practice, are welcomed. The journal is indexed in Scopus, PsychInfo, and Cabell's, and can be found in Google Scholar and DOAJ.

Journal of Applied Communications

The Journal of Applied Communications is a quarterly, refereed journal published by the Association for Communication Excellence in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Life and Human Sciences (ACE). The Journal of Applied Communications focuses specifically on issues and topics relevant to agricultural and applied communication professionals and is peer-reviewed to ensure accuracy and quality.

Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station Research Reports

Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station faculty members conduct research in nearly all areas of agricultural production. This online collection of research reports publishes preliminary results of research conducted at centers around the state in beef and dairy cattle, swine, meat science, plant pathology, sorghum and wheat breeding, cropping systems, irrigation engineering, cover crops, weed science, entomology, range management, turfgrass, and other areas. Research is supported by federal and state funds, grants, and Kansas State University. 

Networks: An Online Journal for Teacher Research

Networks: An Online Journal for Teacher Research offers a place for sharing reports of action research, in which teachers at all levels, kindergarten to postgraduate, are reflecting on classroom practice through research ventures. It also provides space for discussion of other ways in which educational practitioners, alone or in collaboration, use inquiry as a tool to learn more about their work with the hope of eventually improving its effectiveness.

Literacy Connections

Literacy Connections will address a broad perspective of literacy, including all content areas and a wide array of genres. The journal, to be published twice a year, will focus on literacy in the classroom and showcase quality strategies, research, and more. We encourage faculty, classroom teachers, and others who support literacy strategies in their various roles to be a part of this project. We plan to publish twice a year. Among the categories we see the journal addressing:

Our journal accepts rolling submissions throughout the year. Authors are invited to submit manuscripts at any time, and accepted pieces will be published in the next available issue. We welcome timely, practice-focused, and research-informed work that advances the field and supports educators.
